People like Riven who are genuinely understanding about curiosity about their differences are the kind of people this world needs more of, I tell you what. You can't just demand to be treated like a human when you're half-alien, and that shouldn't be desirable anyway.
More foreshadowing. I was trying so hard to be a cool clever writer. But what I really am is a mech designer. A lazy one. I hope the moustache thing made people snicker at least a little. Not sure why I gave him a Chaplin but it seemed to suit him, despite the lack of a nose.
Conan the sphinx was in the old comic. I just love his design.
