I think Soroban's absentmindedness act becomes less forced the more he focuses on his successful reproduction, yknow? Maybe. This bit of logical leap here on Mizu's part is something I really enjoy in fiction. Anytime the characters really bother to think and figure things out, rather than just automatically knowing or not knowing whatever the script demands. On the other hand, how are towers and buildings "vessels"? Shouldn't that be, like, ships? Eh, she comes from a rural area.
Pretty sure I got the book-that-can-display-other-books idea from Angel. But it's a thing, right? Either way it's a very Soroban thing to have. It's funny Sasha ends up figuring this out. And hey, beta Sonic 2 reference!
