H-dropping is serious business. Yeahh I remember deciding a long time before this that Soroban's kid would be named Calendar. It's pottery. What's more, he gets simpler stripes than his mom, so he's easier to draw! Aw man, remember when the theory of relativity thingy was Soroban's catchphrase? Good times. I love when he knows things others don't know. It was fun mirroring Tamasai's pregnancy reveal, that time a tengu told them.
And while it's hard to resist flat-out ripping off shows I like, I absolutely had to directly quote Jake the Dog here. Worked right in nicely. I really hate "preggers" so I make a point to say alternate things like pregners instead. Sounds way nicer. Preggy is okay. Mizu has interesting companions.
