Of all the really obvious possible inspirations here (I mean doesn't Venom sometimes look like slick, shiny hair?), God Eater wasn't one, since I only recently finally learned what the dealio is there. But Riven's questions about it definitely echo how that shit works. I had so much fun for so long drawing it transforming into different forms...
This has to be the most ice power Riven has ever produced. I guess she's been practicing in addition to sitting around reading... Or maybe that just develops over time? It's genetic and all that.
