Do you appreciate how this guy already had little hair curlicues in life? So it's not as if being in Hell is the sole cause of him becoming unhinged. And clearly they were like that even before weird customers stressed him out with one of my more cogent, if slightly redundant, RPG-mechanics jokes.
Sure, it all led up to a terrible, terrible sounds-like-another-phrase "feghoot" gag that would make Colin Mochrie blush (if he knew what Avatar: the Last Airbender was... Which he might. Surprisingly savvy, that Canuck). But anyone who makes it this far in the comic has to have a strong stomach for puns, and that helps.
