Finally addressing the mammoth in the room. Ever since that gag about her holding hot glowy rocks underneath Alex's place so many years ago, I had severely exaggerated Riven's heat tolerance. Chalk it up to me just not looking up temperature numbers. You like the lighting on her shiny shiny skin at least?
This weird creature was another sketch I had sitting around. See what I was talking about with Gyomudo's awkward palm-up gesture? It's not that bad, but it's not great. I'm not sure how Kaen just summoned up such a huge bug while inside a prison cell for another thing, but he's done worse. It can probably burrow.
It's really hard trying to quickly color something so the darker parts are away from the light source but the lighter parts are on the underbelly, the way most animals are. Have you ever noticed that?
