In case it wasn't clear, Kimchi is interested in being around the pretty girls.. largely the younger ones. He isn't specifically crushing hard on Zi, though she's lookin' good for her age. It's a witch thing (except sometimes when witchcraft makes you look old and ugly instead).
But yeah, Mizu cockblocking him is probably taken straight from Pokémon. It's funny, right? It's not like it's a real actual near-insurmountable problem that kind of hurts to think about... Gotta laugh.
Anyway, it seems even here Riven is already showing her smarts, so that's neat! And hey, unexpected cameos from largely-underused characters! Hell of a coincidence, but I'm gonna say Kishon sent them over to keep an eye on everyone. The question of where Reiun, at least, was earlier when we were at Kishon's house is one in a long line of me trying to cover my ass when I forgot something.
