If transforming could make you more comfortable in various environments then you'd think they'd start doing it automatically. I dunno, I think it expends energy the entire time unless you've rearranged your mana enough for that to become your natural form.
Oh hey, check that out. Shadows. Because otherwise they'd look like they were lying on the ground I think. I should have kept it up, but cartoons get away with being shadowless, so whatevs. I was trying to put some passion into Riven's speech here because I genuinely love that kind of thing. G Gundam is my favorite Gundam.
