That'll teach those animals for... being trained by somebody evil. Aw. It's kinda weird to just pull out the arcade game trope of turning red out of nowhere but fuckit. Fun times. I didn't have the patience to actually draw it tangled in the net. I wonder if the have-got thing is an attempt at correction for just saying got.
So this clearly isn't an ape and it's kind of breaking the pattern, but it sounded awesome and I relish any chance to bust out a bonnacon. People confuse those for catoblepas too often. I used to draw them a lot, the armor plating is just so fun. And it suits the skeletal theme, so there you go.
