Dig that recycled art from the previous page. This was mostly an excuse to toss together a ton of random lines I thought would be funny, in a situation where they have an excuse to be. Realistically though, this is exactly the kind of reality show people would watch now.
And speaking of watching: yeah, I guess theatres do exist. Taborca doesn't seem terribly far advanced either. It's not much longer before they go to a place where film has not been invented and all performances have to be live, but that city was far enough away that, er, um... maybe that's not a mistake? Oh hey that last panel is an old Doctor Who thing.
