I was almost physically pained by trying to plot out panel 3. What does a betrothal reception party thing look like? How do I crowds? What goes on the wall? I was totally clueless.
But yeah here Mizu settles, knowing a good thing when she sees it and not wanting to wait just for waiting's sake. I think when you're a main character that is a smart way to go. Thankfully Kaen's fear of plants was brief. I actually looked up cabbage flowers for that panel. I wonder if I looked up the UCB "Psychotonomy" sketch to get "liquid drink-water" right, because I used to always misremember it as "beverage drink liquid."
