This little Odell Lake sequence was really clear in my head, but when I put it down I realized I kind of had to introduce a lot, and quickly, to make it work in as few panels as possible. Not that I was being lazy necessarily, since obviously I got to cut a lot of corners on this page with all the black bits and the mostly recycled shot of the frogolem, as I copped to in the tagline, but just because the timing demanded a certain pace. Just one of many things that would work better as animation sort of except not really because part of the gag is that you wrongly assumed the orange fish got got too. Also Hel is dang cute fishing on that rock holy crap.
