I wish I'd made it a little more clear that he makes the branch move to save himself, but.. eh. Panel real estate market is a biiitch. Also being suddenly in a bath is not a vila's usual power (usually more plant stuff and transformations) but it's easy to get things done offpanel when you know how.
Did anyone else notice the chest kitty face a few episodes back? Clearly I must have. Ivy is pulling some real Oedipal shit here and it is working, but as usual being reminded of friends and family keeps one focused on what matters. That's a good kinda cliche. I'm not sure how the pitcher plant was supposed to look in my imagination but... more bathlike? Less ludicrously deep. Then I looked up a reference and oh well.
