So really all those text walls were an excuse to use this pun. It looks like the cabin is talking in panel 3. I think it's unfortunate that horseshoes are just too iconic a thing to ignore when around centaurs, because realistically they are awful and nobody would willingly nail metal into their hooves. They'd have... hardness potions or something.
As nonsequitarious as this seems, I did establish in the old comic that these centaurs are into weird videogamey gauntlet equipment. It's fun at least. Phineas and Ferb would be proud.
