I had so much fun with these guys. I intentionally made each one a separate hero genre thing because that should happen more. Mizu maybe didn't need to just spell it out, but sometimes I worry non-nerds are reading this comic and I want them to feel welcomed in, not locked out.
Bortzenger is specifically playing off of Danzaiver, who is the most perfect and wonderful of all henshin heroes ever. Did you notice Scapelander is wearing the Earth symbol? Yeah. Haha Ribbon tried to introduce the party but was btfo. I did have to work pretty hard to get Scuba Man's outfit to look cool, but in the end it worked, yeah?
