That's what happens when I just sketch a random monster. The tentacles look really ripply in that first panel, but in a way that's pretty even, so it almost works. I'm amazed I left them that way, though.
Anytime the subject of Ratle comes up, it's time for heavy continuity. Only 90s kids will get panel 5 and its inscription underneath. Meanwhile, panel 6 begs the question of why it wasn't already doing whatever he's worried it'll do if they send it back.
