I love that glow effect used for lightning, but it works better on things like lightsabers that have consistent width. For lightning you kind of want more aura on the thicker parts, and I haven't yet figured out how to do that.
Whoa! It turned out the fish was important after all! You didn't see that coming I bet. I don't even remember anymore what that face at the end is referencing, but nice motion blur, right?
