Probably talked about this in the old comic's commentary, but yeah Mercury does have oxygen. Not enough gravity to hold enough of it down for you to breathe, but it's plausible enough for a fantasy setting. I really should have taken more advantage of the low-grav thing though. Both times. I think they even say that in the comic later. I like coming up with theme names!
