Once again I had forgotten that Van Allen's Belt is supposed to protect the entire wearer by reflecting beams, not ONLY his belt-zone. I think I was replaying Portal 2 at the time, what with the laser hitting a crystal switch thing. That's how most of this stuff gets written, so it's for the best I don't make actual videogames.
Whoever's talking at the bottom of panel 2 has a point, though. How the heckles do you install that kind of switch? Anyway am I the only person who thinks about differently-shaped animal brains?
I like all the weird dendrite things hanging around in that room. It was a bit of work trying to keep the brain consistent, but.. well, I end up putting a lot MORE effort into a certain brain you'll see much, much later.
