This general era of the comic was a lot more well-planned, but I think here I just ran out of planning and it was back to business as usual. Random segues. I don't really see how that's a Photoshop filter, it looks to be just a circular gradient. It must have been something else that just amounts to the same.
These guys sure recognize each other quickly and easily. I hope it was the same for the readers. I just had one more pun for ol' Pa Chinko. Well it's several puns really. It turns out he is a Pa, see, and his name is Genji like Hikaru Genji who... is... some kind of reverse Electra complex guy I used to hear about on TVTropes a lot. Sometimes I just hope my audience is cleverer than I am.
