Aww local gubmint. The thing that should have more power but is also terrible but only because nobody pays attention to it which is only because it doesn't have any power but as a result it actually has too much. There'll be a test on that later.
This whole bit is so very Xanth in the later books when it's getting a little tired how obvious and contrived the puzzles are. It's funny how puzzle design has to be balanced just right or it immediately becomes the opposite of fun.
The red lines around the shutting doors were placeholder lines that I forgot to turn white. I'ma just leave 'em like that! You get the scoop here, the real scoop.
