You know this is when I actually started, for the first time in my life, to use "whom" properly? Better late than never. Keeping those tentacles consistent was super tricky, but I cheated a little by drawing them as solid cords and then adding the joints in later.
This attempt at a convincing argument was hard to write. On top of that, the Daisy thing... I had kinda screwed up and Daisy was going to be the name of the old Belle Kitty, but I remembered Hel is descended not from Zi directly, but from Zi's pet cat, who descends from the old Belle Kitty familiars, so to do that excellent suffix joke I had to shift it. So that's how she ended up with the name Chastity and that got itself a good joke too. But of course, there's more...
