Conversations like this are probably my favorite thing. I've never been a fan of urban fantasy, but fantasy Seinfeldianism is tops. This is about when I realized Hel is just as useless as her mom was before her, but the solution for that wouldn't arrive 'til later.
That white on black message thing is something I should have continued with. It works better than just words-under-a-panel. Also the idea of a gigantic worm coming up from the ground when it rains is super funny to me.
