Soroban appears to not be a proper flat image. I dunno, you ever notice how the Enterprise's viewscreen did that? It just looks better. The thing about that AV setup is you wouldn't be able to use the top drawer. That's kinda lame. As is saying "cool, your jet." I pun involuntarily, they can't all be gems.
Yeah that old crashed ship was kind of a dangling plot thread since surely someone would have found it. I'm not the only one that forgets and then later remembers things like that.
