I may have recycled the establishing shot (with modifications?) but I actually had a lot of fun with the backgrounds here. I'd turned a new corner in trying to make things on the ground show the depth of the scene. Not so much in this page, but soon.
I wonder if anyone actually caught the surprise appearance in panel 3 (and 14). I mean she's facing away from the camera. Toppa has a little stubble on the edge of her leg that I evidently forgot to continue (eh, stubble isn't ever consistent in art). Arbine body hair runs along the outer edges kinda like trolls. They're also kind of gigantic cruel assholes, but I love the potential dynamic with Venus's other race since they're pretty much down for anything.
