Ayaku, of course, was from the old comic. That's why her hairstyle is so awkward and her personality so fun. You also can't deny she has a point about it being worth showing someone what they aren't allowed to do, even if you are kind of leading them to it.
Copying and pasting that soul jar, shrinking and darkening it as I went, and trying to make it nice and staggered, was super extra not easy for just one stupid panel. Sometimes I think about how much harder other comics work and I don't understand how they do it. Really, Riven's Strong Bad quote there is wrong, because that is a very small number visible in that panel. It also doesn't quite look right, the ones in the front aren't big enough.
I wanted that bitcoin reference to become dated, but it's refusing to. Meh. One thing I do like about the soul jars is I made them Baghdad batteries. For some reason, that's just really neat to me.
