Okay well now I'm sure they hadn't been to Hell yet in the new comic. Now see, I could go back and change the other commentary, but where's the fun in that? You're on this road with me as we go through the whole thing together. The gradient here really helps the door-corridor recede. I think I learned my lesson from a few times prior when I really needed the background to recede more and it didn't.
Daemonwulves are a creature I came up with way back when I was making up creatures and it never occurred to me that 'hellhounds' are already a thing and this is redundant. On the other hand, they're unique enough to be kinda cool. Back when I was often drawing everything in profile, the nose horn looked good. Now it's ... slightly awkward. Could really use a redesign. I was definitely using some straight-line help for the text at this point, but not always evening out the word bubbles.
