Hel's hair looks way more chill in these early strips with this hairstyle. I like it a lot better, feel like I messed something up over time. I definitely made the jackal heads look a little awkward. I skipped out on explaining exactly what anubites are because dammit, the older I get the harder it is to make those decisions and then be stuck with them. Anyway as we see, Riven is just bullshitting and foreshadowing. Bullshadowing!
Man, I've never been even close to consistent about Mizu and Kaen's height difference. I probably should have worked my own drawing foibles into this street painter, but I was too busy throwing in more H*R and The Critic quotes. Also lotta coloring errors on this page, but you won't see those. I'm fixing them as we speak, and it would actually appear that I already fixed one of them a week after this went up, but didn't bother uploading it.
