I'm almost kind of glad I forgot the belt is supposed to protect the entire user, not just function as an awkward waist-mounted shield, because it's funny drawing Kaen pelvic thrusting all the time. A lot of the dialogue here comes from those notes I've mentioned. Just fun exchanges, things people don't often say, uncommon reactions to common phrases, etc.
I've been calling the thing at the bottom of the panel a "tagline" and that's about right, yeah? The hole in the tagline is one reason I can't ever change the background color of the site, or use any other host that doesn't let me customize that. I kinda forgot to think of the under-panel shit as 'footnotes' though.
