Birds bathing is cute as fuck. Something about the structure of feathers, I dunno. Also it just now occurred to me that the sewers below Mako Mako Caves' naga zone lead into Gagara, which is home to more nagas in more caverns. Was that intentional? Was I smart or something? Fuck. I'm imagining this whole underground interconnected reptile network and okay I'm going to go write that down now because it ties in with a lot of real world myths really nicely. I think I just accidentally a very smart.
I can't decide if it's smart or dumb, though, that the desert was so full of desert critters when it wasn't a real one. Would they just traverse lots of not-desert to find a new desert? Maybe. Prejudice is really, really funny to write. I'm not sure why. I think because of the hypocrisy. Maybe just because when the target du jour is nagas, you get to say it like that.
