This mildly crooked map salesman really shouldn't have had short sleeves. Ruins his look. I'm so bad at outfits. The rest of the gags surrounding him worked okay.
See the party is kinda too versatile and powerful for anything to be a genuine impediment, so in situations like this I try to spin the humor angle more. I also try to think of more unusual puzzles, like the inexplicable narrow hole full of water. Freezing it works, so the real challenge would be extracting the new ice pole. Riv didn't seem to have any trouble.
What's really funny is I've been watching 'randomizer' letsplays lately, and this kind of shit suits that fantastically.
