I remember writing down "Kimchi just hucks a pumpkin at someone as an attack" and I'm proud of myself for remembering the stems are grayish and not just going full cartoon and making them green. On the other hand, unless that thing's been sitting and curing for a while, the stem shouldn't be dried out yet. Can't win.
This is another problem with the rapid pace of the early comics. It doesn't feel like Kimchi's been inside a cave for all that long, but it's meant to.
