Fun fact: the exoskeletons of dead whale spiders are an important part of the desert ecosystem. Sometimes I forget Lenore is Feli's genie. She just assigned herself. Chose her master. That's kinda nice.
By this time, the stock footage didn't match at all anymore, but I wasn't about to let those beautiful 1s at the top of the page change by making the comic take an extra day! Impassioned speeches are fun. I wish I was better at writing them. I think this is about the time I first realized that glowy effects require the thing in question to actually BE white pixels, and then the surrounding colors are what make it look like it's glowing that color.
