I love all the reasonable misunderstandings. That's one of the things that was so great about the slight reworking in Dragon Ball Kai (at least the dub). People don't automatically know everything that is going on, and just make their best guess.
Unfortunately, Ryou's cool glowy energy sword (using one of the few photoshop techniques I know how to use) did not show up well against these red walls, even after I enhanced it. But it was too late! and the walls look pretty cool, right? As cool as willingly taking on the evil black goo corrupting all the monsters... also I love saying 'ablorb.' That's one of those things like 'zombles' that I either got from Tamdrin or just enjoyed saying with her a lot.
