I don't know if that 'Ted' sign was a reference to anything, but I do know that a troll with downward-pointing upper tusks just looks weird. Not that downward-pointing LOWER tusks would be any better.
Anyway I really like that I managed to turn the trolls' limited savviness against them. And all just because I had written down that it would be a fun exchange to have the failed-backup-call cliché be intentional. Also, Kaen using the flute as a blowgun is just fun. He's done it before, right? I forget.
