That first panel lets you know how very INTO the feel of scenes I got in this comic sometimes. I'm no good at expressing those moods of course, but they're there. This assassin jerk is from the old comic, I'm pretty sure he was based on some half-remembered old sprite or something. Or maybe half out of Samurai Jack or.. either way he's random as hell but this is where he was fought, so I guess he lives there.
Another bit of continuity, that little hybrid critter in the back is the offspring of the mounts they had back in that old comic. Now why Hel knows McP'a village, I'm not sure. I guess NeNe and Loki traveled there. Really it wasn't THAT strange, but I thought it would be funny to suggest it was.
