This is such a Xanth type gag that I'm actually pretty sure they had a similar pun about contact-laxative plants. But it was worth it to add my own additional pun. For once, though, I agree that the 180-degree-rule shouldn't have been violated in panels 4 and 5 as it makes too much ambiguity, and as it is I had a really clumsy next-day transition in panels 1 and 2. But hey, a ship's wheel on the wall! Wacky, right?
